I have a 300ex and i was wondering if i put +2 a-arms of each side and a +4 axel could i sitll be ok in trials or would it be to wide?

To wide IMO. If your going to get a arms and a axle get +1 a arms and extend your axle maybe 1 inch. You don't want it to wide for trails. If you don't have much money or rather spend it on shocks or something else go with 4-1 offset front rims. I know people are going to disagree with me and say bump steer blah blah blah but I don't notice a differents in handling between my quad and my brothers quad (250x). I have 4-1 offset rims also. Its not to wide for trails but it just makes it.

With +2 a arms it would be 47.5 inches by the way.

+2 a arms won't e to wide for the trails. It will be perfect actually. It will be about the same width as a 400ex. The axle's are adjustable so you can adjust to your liking.

My quad just makes it on some of the trails I use to ride on.
