Some of you may recognize the username "Reconmaster" on this site ..
Hes a friend of mine, who races with us.. and is a very well known person in this part of the world...
Yesterday while riding at a new mx track that just opened up here he took a spill and is in the hospital now with serious spinal cord injuries, and there is a good chance he will be paralized from the waist down ...
Hes one of the nicest people you will ever meet .. he will do anything for anyone and its terrible that this had to happen to him.
He was by far the most dedicated rider I've ever met .. He races a 300ex in a class against fully modded 450s .. He may not do very good but he still showed up every race and gives it his best shot.
I know once he gets back home he will really like to know everyone is behind him in this struggle .. so please show your support.
Thanks.

Yes he was wearing all the gear .. Ben was very strict on riding gear and following the rules.. Everytime I rode with him, even on his recon he wore full mx gear.

Very sad news. He is a member on another forum that I go to. This is the info I found on him on Bluetraxx...

"Yesterday he went to windsor to go riding with some friends and he pitch pulled and went over the handle bars, then the wheeler came right around upside down and the grab bar hit him square in the back and he broke two of his vertabre."

And unfortunatly this was posted this morning...

"I just heard possibly the worst news I have ever heard, it hurts me so much to tell everyone this. But Ben will never walk again. I am hoping to go see him tonight at the hospital. I will tell him that not only everyone in our community is pulling for him but people from around the world are sending him their sympathy."

Everyone needs to keep him in their prayers and hope for a miracle.
