the hmf ballance is supposed to have a torque adjuster endcap or something like that, IMO sport series is just as good, if not better.

i really dont think there is a difference, except in price, if you have the money, get the ballance, although as i said before, theres really no difference, there both really great pipes.

They should sound the same. I have one on my 416ex. Sounds good and it has good tourque. My friend has a Slip on HMF and it gave some more tourque, but not a ton.

I will just say this...You can't go wrong with HMF.

IMO the sport series is the way to go, unless u jus have money to blow..i bought the slip on bout 2 years ago and it still looks nice and a real good quality pipe.. u'll notice gains but not a whole lot, as with any slip on.. as far as a full system goes, u wont notice much gains unless u have motor work done..i plan on upgrading to a full system exhaust in the near future since i have a 426 now. i jus chopped my slip on. its about 6 or so inches long.. i'll get some pics and let u kno how it sounds when i get it runnin.. it looks sick as hell IMO, but i like shorty's

i think it just depends on how much you want to spend and what you like the looks of. the carbon one has a torque range modifier that is supposed to "smooth" out the power curve. yes, you may lose some top end with that in place. however, you can take it out and it is essentially the same thing as the sport series inside, just a different look on the outside. i would consider the natalie series pipe (ironman). this header is still the same for the 04/05 trx450r but it is supposed to flow a little more which may give it a hair more horsepower at higher rpms.
