swingarm bolt question

[my400exrules]

i recently broke my swingarm bolt on my 400ex. i am having some serious trouble getting it out. i have tried just about everything...full swing sledgehammer, impacting the bolt end but rounded it off....i was thinking of cutting it but i dont know were.....can i have some help....does anyone else know any solutions...?

Have you tried soaking it overnight in some chemicals? Search it, I believe there's an excellent writeup in the FAQ section.

There is a nice thread somewere I searched for it but I can't find it.

After you get the bolt out make sure you grease the new one atleast every 10 - 20 Hours of riding. It only takes 2 mins to grease and will save you pain and money in the future

I ended up cutting mine off. I cut it between the motor and swingarm on each side. One side has plenty of room the other is extremly tight but possible. Even after cutting it there it was still a pain to get the three peices out. Good luck
