I've got kind of a wierd problem. My swingarm pivot bolt broke in the middle. I had it out last weekend, lubed it reinstalled, it everything okay. The bearings have maybe six hours on them. I was riding a XC lap this weekend when I noticed the bolt working out one side and the nut and thread end working out the other side. I guess it broke in the middle. Now nothing was siezed, so what happened? I want to find the cause so it does just happen again after I fix it. Anyone?

I may have gotten it a little tighter than specs call for, but I have had problems with it ( the nut) backing off. I don't think a drop of loc-tite would hurt. Would it?

I think a drop of red lock-tite would be fine!
