taking the head off 400ex

how do u take the head off of a 400ex i have a 99 im trying to take it so i can get the valves done wiht out them doing everything and leaving me wiht a huge bill. i took the top off to where the springs and cam are...whats next? i dont want to screw up the timing and all that so someone help :D

well got to take off the tensioner then take the chaine off the cam and hook it so it does not fall in the base then take the cam out with the 2 bearing then take out the 4 bolt holding the head and your done .

you need a service manual!

even if you get it off it won't be back on right without knowing how to time it back in and without knowing the torque specs.
