well my cousin gave me this on friday. its an electric bike/scooter w.e u want to call it. it does 24 mph.. only problem is, i rode it yesterday and it started smokeing and we took off the cover and saw that the motor was getting hot. also we found a fuse holder that looked burnt. mabe someone will give me an idea what might be wrong with it.

You're probably too heavy for it. Heavy amp draw (motor loaded down too much) will cause overheating quickly.

it holds 250 pounds
im like 160. im not too heavy for it.it was smokeing when we turned it on even if we werent riding it.

Well DC motors get hot pretty quickly anyways, just because of the amount of current it takes to run something like that. But sounds like a wiring issue, I definitely wouldn't ride it if it was smoking as soon as you turned the key. Check for frayed wiries, blows fuses, etc.

we did. we found a fuse holder that near the wire it looked burnt, but the fust wanst broken.
