I would suggest a FMF 4Q muffler and powerbomb header. (assuming they are made for the 300)

My Supertrapp E.A.R. is just a couple decibles louder than the stock one, and they sound alike too. I just like to open mine up now and then to make it sound serious.:macho

I helped my buddy install a supertrapp IDS2 on his rancher450ES a few weeks ago. My first impression was the low quality of the product. Drilling was required, the wrong bolts were supplied etc etc.........this was not a "bolt on" product.

the sound is suprisingly tame. He claims a power increase, but I rode the bike before & after & felt no difference. I think he wasted his time and money, not to mention my time helping him. :o

I have a supertrapp IDS2 on my 300ex and i didn't have any problems installing and it's not much louder than stock. The cheapest place i found to buy one is Rocky Mountain (239.99 for pipe and silencer).

Sorry, but I need to sell it with the rest of the bike, if I don't have it on, the quad runs like crap. It does come with a header, and it is quite large. I found a good power increase even without re-jetting. I got mine at Chaparral, but if I were to do it again, I would look somewhere closer.

I have the pro circuit T4 slip on. still using the factory head pipe. I noticed a pretty good diffrence in the midrange, and it seems to have more torque. I'm using the medium sized end cap.
the sound is good, but at 97db its got to come down for our state parks. so, I orderd the quiet core insert.
