Paint 250r Header....

guys i want to paint my 250r header black because it is all rusted and looks like crap.

I was thinking of the high temp. exhaust paint. Shoudl i paint it with this stuff of is it no good? also if i did after sanding would i have to paint it with primer then the paint?

Use Duplicolor DH 1602, high temp black. Sand the pipe but don't use primer. I use it on header pipes all the time. Only high heat paint worth a damn that I've found. After you get the head pipe back on, get it good and warm right away and the paint will cure proper. What's nice is when it cures it turns into a "chrome" or silver like color and looks real good, opposed to the other paints burning off....
