Low emission 2-stroke CRM250AR

I was searching for a bike that can be used for Supermoto and cruisng when I came across the last year model of the street legal CRM250. This model is called the CRM250AR and it produces 50% lower emissions than the normal CRM250. CRM's have an ECU that controls oil injection and the power valve. Gear position, TPS, water temp, manifold pressure and rpm are monitored for precise ARC valve control.

The CRM250AR also displaces 249cc instead of 246cc because a 66.4mm pistion is used. The cooling pockets for the head and cylinder are also different on the AR model. The only thing I do not like is the heavy metal gas tank.

The translated diagram shows the layout for the ARC valve control (power valve) but it doesn't show the oil injection controls.

In stock form the bike produces 40hp but picks up 10hp with the addition of pipe/silencer, air cleaner and ECU reprogramming. Mugen makes a lot of parts for this model.

I'd love to get one of those, I'd much rather have a 2 stroke enduro bike to ride to work then a thumper :p

I am really thinking about getting this bike. The big rotor kit, Excel wheel package, pipe/silencer and ECU programming themselves will rob $2k from your pocket. The seller wants atleast $3k.

That's cheap considering a new 4 stroke even used is still pretty pricey! I'd buy it :macho

I just found three more for sell but the one in the pics will save me money since it is already setup for Super Moto. :D

supermoto is amazing. if there was anywhere to do it around here on big bikes then i would jump all over it.
