Well I just bought a 87 Dodge Dakota and I wanna know what size the tires are. All they say on the side are 235 and Im pretty sure thats what size a stock jeep rubicon has but they dont look nothing the same size. So what is a 235 tire? Oh btw here are some pics. I already popped the dent out of the drivers door :o

235 is just the width acrost the tread of the tire. To get the height you need to know the aspect ratio and rim size. Where you read the 235 it should have that info looking something like this 235/75/15?

gonna say about 27-28 inches tall

i switched from 235 75 15's on my old 95 to 31 10.5 15's. had to crank the torsion bars a bit though to get em up front. then didnt like how it sat so i welded up some 2" blocks for the back.

if its 235-75-15 is 28.9

if its 235-75-16 its 29.9

its most likely the first one
