Rockin' on at BPG

Whiteyfz(Thomas) was down from Jersy with his family and they seemed to have a great time enjoying the tracks

Cody and I were on our own this weekend as Mom and ryan had plans:devil:

The weather wasn't bad, but the humidity was high and everyone was sucking down water like mad. Cody pulled over in the shade for a break and I snapped a shot of him.

The breaks didn't last long and everyone was back riding. Cody damn near drove himself in the face of a double when his 300 shut off, it kept doing it so we had to put her on the trailer sunday:ermm:

Bike riders were everywhere you looked, and most of them were airing it out!

When I snapped this shot, I found out how bad CJ's quad was running. It stalled in the air and he came sliding to a halt beside me:p

I removed the air box lid and it seemed to help, but it showed itself sunday morning so I have to figure out wth is going on.

Cody took Whiteyfz into the woods for a few laps.

After dinner on saturday nights is always a blast.

He is learning, he is still pretty young but he has fun...and that is the main point of riding isnt it:p

A nice heavy rain hit the area around 9pm saturday night, and Dan was out at day break taking advantage of the wet ground to help redo some of the lips on the jumps

Brian from WPPRacing was out and about. I originally posted he had bent his axle, but i was mistaken. He was telling me trackside and I don't hear worth a hoot anymore, but he ended up trashing a set of rims last weekend:p

The clouds were rolling inand the humidity was up again even though it was early. I was sweating just taking pics, I know the riders were getting hot

Mike was looking good out there today, getting used to that LTR and the jumps at BPG is alot to tackle

Saturday evening, Cody was tryong to get in some laps on his bike when a 17 year old on a YZ125 kept screwing with him. After 4 or 5 laps, Cody pointed to his quad as he sailed the finish line table and the next lap he came sliding off and jumped on his quad.


The YZ125 rider and Cody lined up and in a hail of engine noise and roost the race was on to the first corner. Cody laid down the sickest block pass I have ever seen and that was that. Mr YZ couldnt hang:devil:

CJ put in a crap load of laps tonight on his bike and is doing incredible. For owning the bike a week he is ready to step up to the big tracks next weekend

Its not an insanly hard section, but it will keep you on your toes

I had an excellent time at BPG!!! It is my favorite place to ride.:macho

It stinks that my quad kept shutting off...but luckily I brought my bike:)

The bike is really fun to ride...probably because it is so different than the quad.

I emailed the owner the other day asking the same question.

Here was his response..


"The only trails we have are two small loops, one is a mile with no jumps just cool turns and lots of trees. The other is a 3/4 mile loop for pit bikes that has some jumps. Hope to have trails again someday but gotta get through the red tape first, some more property wouldn't hurt."

There were several more quads there, but i was feeling bad and spent most of my time keeping tabs on Cody and resting

Sundays are hard to get alot of decent shots due to the sunlight. Most folks ride mid day and if its sunny that usually doesnt make for good shots

This feller is a breezewood local. He bought his Z400 used and has been learning to ride MX here almost every sunday. Ive watched him go from rolling everything, to almost clearing cleanly every jump they offer. Damn nice guy to chat with also

Watching as much as I do, sure makes me happy when I see people get it together and start enjoying the tracks instead of being terrified of them

Thinking it could be a good trip for me and the guys to come to on Labor Day...??If anyone could kinda fill me in on...Sleeping...water, and food facilities near by or what..That would be great..thanks alot..

its in breezewood pa. you can camp out there, or in town which is 15 mines away, it has ALOt of motels and hotels. i usually stay at the holiday in express.at breezewood, they sell ice if u have a cooler, or u can buy drinks. they have chips, candy. and food. burgers. hot dogs.grilled chicken and i dont remember the other food.. but its a great place, and the people are really nice.

Breezewood is just about dead center of pa, on the southern border. Its right before you cross into MD on interstate 70.
