rear brake question

The rear brake on my 300ex sticks. Pulled the pads and the piston comes out when pedal is applied but does not retract. What is this from? Thanks

Loosen the the 2 slider pins that go through the pads on your rear caliper. Unbolt the caliper from the swinger but leave the brake line hooked up. Take those 2 pins out and wire wheel them. Compress the pistons into the caliper a little to make reinstalling the caliper easier. Clean all the crap out of the caliper where the pads were and reinstall the pads. Put a little grease on the pins before you slide them back through the pads. Mount the caliper back on the swinger. Don't worry if your brakes drag a little however you should be able to rotate the tires easily by hand if the tires are off the ground. If they're still grabbing hard I would rebuild the rear caliper and possibly the master cylinder.
