Engine Problem???

I was doing power slides with my 300ex when my chain fell off and got caught in the front section by the motor. The engine instantly cut and ever since the quad has been running poorly. when riding it makes a clicking sound. Could it be a streched tranny? Please Help!!!

if your timing chains is worn the sudden stop may have caused it to jump a tooth or so in timing. the clicking could be slight valve contact with the piston or some spark knock. or just the timing chain slapping.
