i want to build a race ex but i dont know what size bore and should i stroke it also? i want to keep up with the 450s and still be legal to race.

get the hotrods 460 kit. it is a combo of bore and stroke and no one will ever know that u r running a 460 because it uses the stock cylinder. u should be able to get through legally on a 460 anyway.


if ur starting from a relitively stock ex, i would sell it and get a 450 though, more bang for the buck.

i got a 416 with stage 2 hot cam, full big gun exhaust, k&n filter, no air box lid.and im pulling the holeshot. but this all falls back on how good of a rider u are.

all i have done to it now is a filter, baffle removed, and installed a rev kit. i am going to race it over the winter then ride the dune during the summer.
