I'm going from a 14T to a 15T front sprocket on an '05 400EX. It seems like I won't be able to use the sprocket protector/chain guard with the larger sprocket. Am I right? Will it cause me any major problems if I don't put the chain guard back on?

Thanks!

Hmmm. if it dosent fit u can use one off of like a 99-04. i think it'll fit.. It ought to go over yours since it was made for a 15t.

Thanks for your input. I ground the crap out of the case saver so it'll clear, but I doubt it does much good anymore. Good enough for who it's for.
