I was wondering if it could be...

-Silencer needs to be repacked

-Just the air (it was crazy foggy this morning and it's humid out)

was this right after start up? how rich are you mixing your oil/fuel?

could be oil that has settle in the bottom of the tank/carb from sitting a few days if it was right after start up. it also could be oil from oil -soaked silencer packing. IDK but if it runs good, ride it!

Edit: just way your other post, IDK.

I use a Ratio-Rite, I dunno what I could be doing wrong, maybe there was some oil setteled in the bottom of the can this time, cause It doenst usually do this

Mine looks like that at startup, but clears up when warm. Maybe your's is burning gear oil? What ratio does Maxima recommend? I think my Klotz R50 is supposed to be mixed at 40-50:1.

if your running 32:1 thats about right, my KX used ot smoke like that beforei t was totaly warmed up. lots of people say run 40:1 or 50:1 but at 32:1 its alot cheaper to replace a $3 spark plug than a new top end.the only other thing is maybe you have a crank seal goign out on the clutch side,if you've noticd an increseing amout of smoke than normal and if your oil level is dropign in the tranny.:ermm:

I'm leaning towards needing to be repacked. Take a look...
