built motor need help!

well i bought a 426ex built by pro fab about a year ago but unfortunatly the guy really didn't know much about it just that it was a 426 and 13.1 compression but other than that i don't know much. pro fab is now out of business so no help there. currently i'm powdercoating the frame and other parts so was hoping you guys could help me find out what is all done to it (clutch, port and polish, valves, etc) also curious to know when i know when to rebuild it. any help would be appreciated and can get pics if you need them. thanks

can't tell you much without pics. but here is some stuff to look for.

on the cam there should be some sort of marking signifying the grind if it is aftermarket. if teh Head has been P&P'ed you should be able to take teh intake boot off and see if it is still rough from casting marks or if it is smooth and looks like it has tool marks in it. the clutch you cant really tell unless it has an aftermarket basket in it. then it should be makred on it somewhere. the valves you can't really say cause most look just like stock.
