Straighten a Stem?

Is there anyone that can safetly and effectively straighten a bent stem? My JRD is pretty bent, is it even possible?

yes its real easy if you have acces to a press-allyou need is two pieces of a 4x4 to lay accross the metal-keep going until its straight-do not use heat because it will weaken-

by the way arent jrd stems a 2 piece design so you dont have to replace the stem?

my buddy bent a roll design stem in his first moto. We laid it on a piece of wood and rolled over it, back and forth with a big pickup. Worked pretty well and i believe he is still running it, haha.
