OK guys here it is.....
my shocks soak up all the bumps I can put to it...(i.e. railroad ties, pot holes, disked-up fields, rocks..whatever..whoops..but my frame touches the ground but the shocks are not bottoming out. what is the prob

Too much travel. Have you gotten smaller tires? If it's a problem for you, install longer bump stops or put spacers under the stock ones.

CAN RIDE HEIGHT AFFECT THIS?

No, adjusting the ride hieght won't help. When you ordered them were they fimilar with the arms they were going with and are you sure they relayed the correct info to TCS? I have seen some arm builders set there a-arms up so that they come too close to the ground and the info they relay to the shock builder isn't complete enough for the shock builder to see the problem. I hope that makes sense. Call TCS and let them know about your problem. They really have good customer service there.

yeah the tag that came on the shocks had my info right on...but i think I told them to set them up for a 4-1 offset rim..and right now i have a 3-2...but I think it seems way to easy...

Are you running 18 rear and 20 front by chance? Instead of 20 rear, 22 fronts?

As the guy above said.. you probably jsut need a 1" taller bumpstop so it stops just before the frame touches.

but i think they bottom out too easy...I can stand on the front and they go over half the way down. But I am running 20's in the front...I didn't realize that would make a difference

When i figure out shock lengths when designing my arms I always will have two different builds. The overall length stays the same but the shaft travel is normally less when it is a MX shock as compared to a desert or trail riding set up. Wheel offset won't effect it that much. Did they ask you for tire sizes when you placed the order? Make sure you have everything adjusted the best you can on the front shocks before you say they are bottoming easy.

If you already have your compression all the way up it appears that you might need to have them change the valving. Check the preload on the springs. If it is zero preload just make sure that when you're on the quad that you have about 40 percent of the travel in sag. TCS is really good about making the valving right if it is off. All it will probably cost you is the shipping to send them back.

If you bought them from ATVSuspensionTech.com Joe will pay for the shipping to get them sent to TCS and back....

We have had our TCS for a while now.....and last week we raced a long cross country race up in the mountains......all my husband could say afterwards was "Man, I love my suspension!!!". Pretty cool when you still love it even after a year or two! ;o)

Good to hear!
Isn't it amazing what a couple tuning changes can make?

you should have realized what preload did before making a thread, making calls, etc. learn about suspension and what it does, how it works, and what each of the adjustments do before you buy suspension. it will make life so much easier. oh, and never run a shock at full compression! they will be blown in months!
