Filling your handle bars with silicone!

Does filling your handle bars with silicone really help. I was thinking about doing it to my stock bars until I get Renthals.

I have heard that it does help take some vibration out. I have never tried it myself. Can't hurt though. I have also heard of putting a rubber hose thru the bar. Use the largest Diameter that will go inside.

don't fill your stock bars with silicone. theres already a anti-vib thing in there.

I was having a problem with the vibration coming thru my Renthals and filled them with silicone. It seemed to cut the vibration down to a tolerable level, but did not eliminate it. It's even more noticeable now with the motor work for some reason.
