air box mods?

i have ordered a WB E series exhaust . can i just run the k&n with outerwear and no lid on the air box or must I cut holes in the lid ?

yes you can just make shure you have your outerwear pre filter
on at all times. and don't ride in to much water :cool:

If you own a 250EX I would want to keep the snorkel. One option you have is to remove the snorkel and grind the end of it out where the small (13/16") hole is. Though with this mod you will need to rejet your carb. I tried it on the '99 recon, before I got the 250EX, which was 100% stock. It would not run past idle. If I was you I would try this, plus you still will have your snorkel for high water situations!
