Best bet is to hand out flyers in your area or on your street..

I mow huge apartment complex's there's about 450-500 apartment's in one complex and we do half one day and half the other day.. It's pretty easy work, right about this time there isnt much for mowing since it's hot and not much rain (grass is dry and dead) weed wack the outline of the flower beds, around tree's and such, side's of walk ways and drive way's and blow everything once your finished.

Right now your best bet is to do scrubs and clean up leave's.. Clean out flower beds etc.. then in the winter time get hooked up to do some driveway's and sidewalk's ( you could use the same clients you have for mowing) Salt everything etc.. then in the beg of the summer do mulching..

Yard sale's man lol you'd be surprised :p

Basically all you need is a trash can, rake, leaf blower, push mower, weed wacker and a hand saw and some snips if your going to be trimming bushes and such

There isn't much work on farms right now anyways. They will probably start sewing wheat soon though. If you are talking about a dairy farm there will be work needed to be done but otherwise you probably wouldn't find any work on a farm.

Lawn Service is where its at for younger kids.

My dad bought me an ace hardware mower when I was like 11 (i think) to start my own buisness. Im now almost 18 and my buisness has expanded to the extreme. I have contracts with a few construction companies, and apartment complexes, along with 20+ personal residence's. Plus weekly jobs of tree removal or trimming, washing house siding, landscaping jobs, etc.

My equipment has expanded to a John Deere 54", White 50", Toro 21" pusher, Two Stihl weedwhips, stihl leaf blower, stihl edger, and a John Deere Hedge trimmer. Also have a nice 6x14 equipment trailer. Im looking to gain a few pipe-lines, and fast food chains next year.

Buy a mower and stick with it...it will pay off.
