Air filter fell off while riding =/

well i went riding the other weekend. and when i got back i noticed my airfilter had fallen off and had been sitting in the air box :mad: :mad: :mad: what should i do? I was at the sand dunes when it happened.

happened on my 400ex...either get a new clamp or tighten the other one a wicked lot

and def change your oild and filter

clean your carb while your at it...bet there is sand in there

lol ya i changed the oil twice, and the oil filter. Rode around my street to make sure all the oil levels were good. THEN saw this problem :mad: . so i guess imma clean the entire airbox and carb. and change the oil



you guys think i should re-jet to like 1 step higher now? cuz i got a K&N now. OEM was looking was starting to look bad anyways.

u dont need to re-jet for the k&n. if i was u i would clean the carb and put it all together. i dont think its necessary to change the oil again.

what about K&N and the airbox off?

if you were running a lid before then you will need to rejet. You will go up quite a bit running no lid.
