ok i know im not the only one reading this post and wondering what a fox body is so ill stick my neck out there and ask :p is it just the 80's style mustang or is it a body kit or? :confused:

It's the body style of Mustang from the factory. I want to say it started in 87-88 and ended in 93 but I may be wrong.

It started in 86 and ended in 93. There were coups and Hatchbacks. The coupes being my favorite, there are rare versions such as black on black and white on white. The GT's had a body kit or ground effects to "make them" a gt. The most popular style being the LX 5.0, The LX 5.0 coupe was clean and light. The black on I posted above is a black on black 5 speed LX 5.0 Very pretty.

fox body mustangs make really quick drag strip cars, im a chevy man 100% but all of my family has them, they are alot of aftermarket parts for them, they are really light compared to other muscle cars, and it doesnt take much for them to haul *****:D

79-93 are fox bodies

85 1/2 went to fuel injection

87-93 changed the front nose, headlights and bumper, and no window luevers, just moved it to a full bigger window

90-93 have 5 spoke wheels

5.0's are sweet, I have one, Great power, Rear end is light.

I do a lot of drifting, as a matter of fact I just did a 270 turn around slide last night. Drifting is so fun, I say get a stick, I'm a stick lover and you can feel and have more power. In the rain it is hard not to drift every turn. One time I was drifting so much I made a kid cry that was riding with me. And last nite I was doin some 45mph or so drifts and my friend who is like my brother was scared. Now don't get me wrong, I don't suck, I am really good at it, cuz lots of practice, but my buds got shaky but they know I know wut I'm doing so they felt safe. LoL.

86 was the first year of SEFI, true dual exhaust and the 8.8 rear

87-93 GT's had the factory ground effects

86-88 were Speed Density (California cars got mass air in 88)

89-93 were mass Air.

90-93--no tilt wheel (airbag)

93's had a lower HP rating due to emissions (205 or 215HP)

i just bought a 92 notchback with a 5.0, world products windsor jr. heads, motorsports f cam, edelbrock upper and lower, bbk cold air, mac long tubes, high flow h-pipe with cat and mufflers, 5 spd, 3.73's ill try to get pics this week
