Just what the title says. Does/has anyone had theirs done or do you know of somewhere to get it done?

i would send it to gt thunder or TC probably. i would even then consider sending it to trailtech to see if they can balance it any better than who lightened it.

Ah I'm glad you replied here. I wasn't gonna get mine lightened after hearing some of your comments, but I bought one off ebay for $32 and I'm gonna get it lightened to see how I like it, and I'll still have the stock one just in case. I was hoping I could send it to someone who could balance it after doing the lightening.
do they just turn the flywheel down to lighten it?

I've heard of a few different ways. Some put them on a lathe type machine, and I guess if some had the equipment they could have it C&C machined to where it would be "exact."

yeah i would keep your stock one too. you probably wont' notice much difference unless you have a friend with a bike close to speed as yours.

I know I won't notice any power difference but I'm hoping it'll just help it rev faster. Seems like the 400ex revs really slow to me.
