My stock tires on my 400EX have about had it. I am looking at a new set but don't know what type to buy. I do alot of woods riding on traisl and do some drag racing. I was lookin at holeshots, shredders and razrs which I was leaning towards. Which would be the best to buy? Also I was lookin at a steering stabilizer. Which would be the best to buy in these and are they worth the money? Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!!!

After my current tires wear out, I am going to only buy the stock style tires. I love em...

well i bought my 300 with turf tamers and i really didnt like them for woods and little pits. i bought the 400ex stock tires for the rear and theyare so much better in trail riding. thats just my input

Get yourself a set of razr's. Ive only had mine on for about a week and i ride woods most of the day then a track in the evening and they hook up great and still let u slide your rear end out around turns. Now on whenever any of my 4 wheelers tires go bald they will get razr's.

the maxxis all-traks are a good alternative to the stock tire.great traction on all surfaces including mud and snow;)

I have kinda of a dumb question here. I'm not sure which ply I should go with or what that really means. Should I go with 4 ply or 6ply and what is the difference?

6 ply is made for X country woods riding while 4 ply is better for all round riding. Ply rating is thickness or puncture resistant. 6 ply is really tough and not likely to have sidewall punctures. Also 6ply has less body roll which could be good or bad depending on riding style. hope this is some help

I too like the stock tires.........I will most likely get tamers as replacements, or titan trail claw II's.

I felt the stock tires were very good but they wore kinda quick. I have a set of 6 ply 20-11-9 Holeshots now and like them a lot. They handle just about every situation better than the stockers, but do two wheel a little. Not bad though! They are great tires and hook up and handle great. I got mine from Rocky Mtn. for $50 a piece.

I have Holeshots XC's all the way around on my 400ex and my Warrior. I like em alot. I ride on mostly dirt, rocks, mud, and gravel. They do the job in most any conditions. Don't forget the Douglas .190 aluminum wheels to go with them. Much lighter than the stock steel wheels.

On my 400ex: front 22-7-10
rear 20-11-9

On my Warrior: front ? can't remember? sorry
rear 20-11-9

Maxxis Razrs are also very good tires. My buddy runs them on his 300ex and loves them. They have alittle more sidewall flex than my Holeshots.
