Well, finally the Mid East Series has started back racing after a long summer break. Many riders have been racing other series over the summer break, and I hope they have realized that the there is no better series than the Mid East!

I was glad to finally see and hear a four-wheeler again (and I bet my husband was too) cause we have been working all summer getting our house finished so we could move in before the season started back. Thankfully, we moved in just one week before the racing action kicked off.

Our House:

Yeah, Hondas do tend to be a little more predictable at speed.

Gump is right about the yamaha's being scary at speed. Everytime we made it to a feild section, the guys on yamaha's looked scared to death as I went flying by.

Of course, then I crashed.... My bike is much faster than I am....

I am looking forward to Rockhouse but unfortunately as a spectator. My wrist injury from Boonville is SLOWLY healing and the lip laceration has closed up. (I decided against putting a big gold hoop in my lip where my tooth went through :D ) The wrist is nowhere near being race ready. I also have to replace or rebuild my rear master brake cylinder but no luck so far finding an inexpensive way to do it with the Predator.
We did have a great race with women's and I wish we could get us all together again. I will miss you Jenna!!!!!!!! Sonya will be racing and my husband will race for the first time ever so I am excited about watching them and I will be cheering for everyone!

I hate to miss a race also. With some patience I should be ready for the next one though.
He has only been riding since he met me last September and he hasn't gotten a lot of seat time but he took to it like a fish to water and has a lot of respect and love for our sport already. I have been checking rider totals for the last 4 races and the first one at Rockhouse trying to decide between Unlimited Sportsman, C 25+ or Senior. Senior class has some serious, experienced and tough riders on decked out quads and he has a stock 300EX so I am thinking one of the other 2 classes might be better. I just hope he has fun and is safe! Hope I get to see you at Rockhouse!!!!
