Oil Question...

I recently rebuilt my engine and am starting to break it in. I know your supposed to use non synthetic when breaking in and I am. So my question is, how many tanks should I wait till I can switch to synthetic?

Also, do I even need to run synthetic, and if so should I go semi or fully?

I use only honda oils gn4 10w40

u don't need to run synthetic, i wouldn't recomend a full synthetic though because that's been known to cause clutch slippage.

i would go a good ten hrs. before running a semi synthetic.

i like to run belray "thumper" oil. works really good. it's a semi synthetic
