do they make any for the 400ex? and if so how much HP could i get out of it? thanks

i know a company in belgium that makes 2 curve cdi units
they give a lot more horsepower.

everyone and their brother makes a CDI for teh 400ex. there are some many comanies to choose from. as far as power gains, you won't see much. a little gain but they mainly give you better throttle repsonse and raise the rev limiter. get a good one, not a cheap xr250 box. GT thunder makes a good one, TC racing is another good one. then Dynatech and MSD both make programable ones. MSD is great, harder to install than the rest and still uses the stock CDI but it is amazing.
