I know im not the only one who is always trying to de code the meanings of songs, tell me what songs your currently listeneing to and your favorite song and explain what you think it means.

right now Im listening to

Primer 55 this life - and I think its about a chick who has an abusive boyfriend but refuses to do anything about it.

I know its kinda weird but I like to hear other peoples takes on what they get out of a song.

One thing Ive found out is there is some really deep meaning to Tools songs or you just have to be blitzed out of your skull to understand them.

Yep, when I used to like country I really liked that song...

Another one that has the same meaning as that is My chemcial romance- Ghost of you. Music video is really cool on it, and the song is rather decent though i'm not the biggest fan of them its one of their best.

I would have to say two very interested songs thats meanings are pretty different, would be by Slipknot, Vermillion and vermillion pt 2.

In vermillion he describes someone in his life, everything in his life really, cant even explain it. This leads to an undescribable obsession of the person, which in turn he finds out more, things he had not realized before, which the obsession turns into anger, things arent the same, but something still draws him to her.

In vermillion part 2. it describes the aftermath of everything really, part one was the build up of everything. In part 2 he describes his guilt, and whats left of everything. You can take things alot of different ways with these songs, but these are the true backbone to the songs, pretty neat really. Check them out.
