i just ordered my front sprocket and i need to know how exactly to install it. do i have to take the chain off? it looks like i could just take the little front sprocket gaurd off and undo the sprocket pull it off and switch, how do i do it?

Take off the sprocket guard and take the sprocket loose. You should be able to get it out and the new one in with out taking the chain off. If it is a different size you might need to take out links or add linkes to your chain. Take it all the way loose at the ajuster so you have some give when switching the sprockets.

im dropping 1 tooth, so a 14t sprocket, ill do what you said, if i need to take the chain off i have the tools.

Just loosen up the chain with the bolts in the rear of your swingarm. Take off the guard/s and sprocket. Re-adjust everything to fit proprerly.

i cant even get the ****ing guard off, so im hitting it with a ****ing hammar, i got the top screw undone on the guard, I CANNOT GET THE ****ING BOTTOM, i cant get the shifter off, because the ****ing ***got the owned this quad STRIPPED IT.



is there anything i can do?

you dont need to take ur shifter off man....relax.....hold ur shifter down with one hand and ratchet it off with the other....or have someone hold ur shifter down.....u can do it alone

still didnt work, because i dont have a extension here

but i got a friend to come over and help, i got it on now, i just need to tighten my chain.
