anyone regret race cut fenders

i really think i want to but have never ridin one with cut. i never water or mud ride anyhow. only sand or hard dirt. mostly sand. anyone wish they havnt cut them?:huh

you're going to get two totally sets of answers. there are several people on the board that do woods/mud/water riding that hate it. some even bought new plastic after cutting them. personally, i don't do a lot of that type of riding anymore, but a lot of times the tracks i ride are muddy after a fresh watering. it bothers me some, but not very much. with + size a-arms, i don't think it makes a difference either way, because the tires will stick out from the plastic anyway.

there is one a con to cutting your fenders. Its resale value. If you cut your fenders the resale value will drop like 300 dollars. The dealer doesn't want to try sell a quad cut fenders.

I like cut fenders a lot and especially on the MX track because you can always see what ruts your getting into and stuff. I ride in the dunes but i havnt been there with cut fenders yet so i dont know how much it would really help there. But i dont regret it at all helps some and looks b!tchin!:D

i love mine, but today i wish i woulda had them because i was riden around a mud hole and my front tires did nutin but spray my face and goggles were covered in mud, makes me wish i woulda put on my tear offs today:eek:

i have had them on my bike forever. i have bought 2 setd(1st set got destroyed) the only time i regreted it was at hatfield mccoy cause it had rained when i was there and it was so wet. they only pwerson that didnt get real wet or muddy was my dad on his sportsman.

By cutting them I might get a bit more dirt on me but I lost all the push that the always blowing North Dakota wind put on the quad. Oh Yeh , It looks good too.
