i was looking on sears site for a lift and theres one on there for $70 (atv stand). I wonder how it does. The wood ones are good if you can lift it up there by youself :o

Im not sure if I would trust a $5000.00 quad on $6 worth of lumber...maybe its just me though?

I have a sears stand....works great!

I would just get the stand from sears. Its very handy when you have the quad torn down and have no wheels on it. With the $100 sears stand you can just move it out of the way. My quad is always on the stand when ever I'm not using it.

I don't think it really matters. I have never heard of anyone doing that. It looks cool though when your friends come over and the quad is all lifted up and you can see how much travel they have:D

I got the sears one last year and it works really good...you don't have to lift the quad onto the stand and when your working on your quad and have the wheels off or something like that you can still move it around

i just work on the ground. I have a bunch of 2x2 foam mats that I lay on the ground. THen when Im working on my motor I get a piece of plywood and cover the top of the sink in my garage.

I really need a stand tho since I am starting to re-build my quad from parts!!

the sears doesnt bring the bike very high, and i dont lift mine on, i put it on it back, and thenbring it down onto the stand. it works good and is very stable. My bike sits pretty high to
