hey, i bought my quad off a peson who took off his headlight and now im trying to put lights on it and i have no idea how to put these on my quad. i just bought these and tried to get them to work, but dunno how. they do work becase i did hook them straight up to my battery and they work fine.
so what do i need to buy or do to make them work right?

you are better off getting used stock lights for your quad. What kind of quad i sit.

I would buy a Handle Bar mount kit from Cascade or something and bolt them to that. Or make a piece for the bars to bolt your light to. Then just soder the wires to your original headlight wires. Or the easiest way is just get a stock headlight. I am sure somone on this site has one.

they mount in the stock light location. all you need to do is splice them to the wire harness.

i got a bunch of different color wires down there
does anyone know what color ones go to the head light? can anyone look on there 300ex?

Looks like those lights are made to mount in the stock location on a Yamaha Banshee. You're going to have to rig up something pretty goofy to fit those on a 300ex.
Sell those on e-bay, and get some TrailTechs (come with mount, and instructions). ;)
As for wiring, it varies by year groupings. I'd just break out a volt meter, and see wich wire turns on/off 12v when flipping the light on/off switch. The ground can just go to chassis ground.

Mine i belive was white to white and green to black. but check first before you splice them together.

thanks bro, you just took a load off. i just ****** rigged it up and works great.
is it normal that these get hot a*s h*ll?
