I'm going to order some Thor Quadrant boots tomorrow...And I was just wondering what ones to get. It says I can get black, red, white, OR black w/ ATV sole.

Do I need to get the ATV sole?? Whats the difference? Thanks alot!!

The only difference is that the ATV boot has more grip on it compared tothe regular boot. Would be better in muddier conditions thats about it. Hope this helps

Color is really just a personal preference. I really like white boots, but I ended up getting black ones, easier to keep looking nice. For the ATV sole, I have never owned a pair, so I have never felt the difference. I know they aren't neccesary if you do mostly mx. If you do a lot of woods riding, and will be hiking around, the atv sole might be nice, but once again, its not needed. Its a lot like the sole of a regular work boot.

I do some MX, so what your saying is that the regular ones are fine? But the ATV sole just has a little more grip? Thanks..

The sole wont affect the grip while riding. It only affects the grip while you are off the quad, walking around. If I were you, I would just go with the regular sole.

i have black mx boots, somtimes the atv boots would be nicer but to me i'm happy with my mx quadrants. mine are the black ones and they seem to be holding up very well ( i've had them for 3months now, very good boot for the money.

The atv sole is much better. It grips the foot pegs better for less slipage. Saved my butt many times......

i have the mx sole...and ive never had them slip even once..and i do all mx....maybe a little sandpit bull****ting...but.....i honestly think youll be fine with the mx sole...unless you ride in muddy condiotions..like a GNCC race
