We have the Napa ones at work...and sure they work for a while...and then start to lock up and strip out over a period of time. Who out there uses somthing else? and whats the price run on these puppies??

Craftsman is nice, and you get a lifetime warranty or something like that if they break.. look for them on sale at sears, I gotta pretty sweet set of metric and standard for really cheap..

I have had great luck with Gearwrench. I have used them for a couple years now and great. Only one stripped out and NAPA replaced it for us. The only reason that one stripped though was we put another wrench on it to get extra torque which they were not designed for.

I like the Craftsman stuff . They are durable , and if by chance you break one , you bring it back to Sears and get another one with no questions asked .

Snap-on all the way, my has one in the shop that he bought new in 1976 and still using it today, only rebuilt once. Snap on stuff isnt cheap but does eventually pay for itself.;)

snap on or craftsmen proffesional, not the regular craftsmen becuase the regula ones suck, and i know that from experince(busted knuckels when the ratchet gives out) gearwrench is pretty good to

I have a craftsman set that have the reversible ratchet. the ones with the little switch. love em! use them all the time.

My dad being the tool finatic that he is has the snap on set. Only issue I have with his is I always hit the little reverse ratcheting swich.

At the shop theres a set of gear wrench, no reversible, just flip the ratchet over. they are alright other than the fact that they dont have a bend in them for the reason that you have to flip it over to go the other direction.. If that made any scence. and they have box end on both ends. no open end...

out of the three I would gladly use any of of them.

Matco Tools are really good. They work really well in tight places because there is less wasted movement in them.

Which 450?

regular craftsmans suck, it requires so much to get them to rachet, and they are huge. I'd go blue point or gear wrench. I have the blue points, they have a finer tooth then even the snap-on's But a hefty price, I think i paid $300 for std and metric.

Craftsman
Snap - On
S & K

There all good. They all also have lifetime warranty. I noticed I break alot of craftman sockets. Kind of a pain since I live 30 Mins from the local Sears. But that is why i have double and tripple of tools
