Anyone with stock bike removed snorkle

Hey,

I'd just removed my snorkle, and my bike is stock, except my noss machine adapter with UNI filter.
But i'd like to know if anyone else did it and what was your jetting.
I put a 142 mikuni main jet and turn out the fuel screw to about 2 3/4 turns out and seems ok but i'd like to confirm :)

you should be fine with that setup. these things normally come a little lean from the factory so richening it up a little is ok.

How did it run before the re-jetting?

i first removed the lid and snorkel , the bike was running like crap, put a 142 mikuni main jet and was running quite good except a little dead spot like 3/4 to full throttle. i'll try with the lid on today if i have time to run my bike and i turn the fuel screw to 2 3/4 turns out. IT,s been almost a month now that i havent ride my bike :(

Ya with the lid off, you will deff have to rejet. your dead spot could be your stock needle. Get a dyno jet kit and put the clip on the 3rd groove. With the stock pipe a 142 main will be fine but if you pipe it ,you will need to go up more.prolly a 155. At least thats were mines at it it runs great
