Just picked up the 01 from Texas, the 04 I bought new last year. I can't get enough of these things, really awesome quads. The 01 will either have a 770cc 5 mil stroker or a KMS turbo and efi put on over the winter :D

Nice! Those DSs are some mean machines. There are a couple of really badass ones that come out for the Clash of the Titans around here... big drag racing event. Last fall a DS took 1st in the four stroke class.

Yeh, them guys that go to the clash and the other big drags put crazy money into their DS's.

Nice bikes.

DS's are crazy. Like a Cadillac, with unlimited power....in Desert racing at least.

I hopped on one for the VERY first time at last years Best in the Desert Hendersons Terrible 400, as a teammate to an Eliminator Racing rider......kind of a wierd bike to get used to, especially going straight into Desert racing. They are a great desert bike though.

With 17/38 gearing, it was still almost impossible to stall it, but FLEW on the top end. GPS registered me at over 100 at one point on a powerline road. :D

I'd like to ride one again sometime. I may be invited to team up with the same rider and bike at the Avi 150, we'll see.
