Question for Pappy

We may have found a PowderCoater locally but the guy said that he needs to FRESHLY sandblast it so that there is a positive and negative charge between the metal and the powder

Is this a VALID step,or is he hozing us for extra money.

WE have already blasted it two weeks ago,we just need to blast the Welds now on Brandons mini.

LOL...no,

It should be clean and what not but the negative/positve aspect of the deal is not needed..infact pc'ing a freshly blasted part actually builds up a positive charge on the metal and will repel pc.

Im sure he just wanted a clean surface and figured you would be dazzled by some tech wording:)

Well, Troy and a freind decided to do it themselves instead!!
I think it turned out pretty good!:D
We needed it back together in time for State Championship race,or you would have got it instead;)

And besides... it was something new to learn! :)
