Does the newer YFZ seat fit on the older quads or were there more changes than just the seat itself?

it should unless the 06/07 had frame changes.

I think they will...

Technically the 05 seat was different than the 04 (thicker) and they will definatly fit the 04. We borrowed a guys 05 seat for our 04 at a 6 hour race last weekend and didn't have any trouble using it.

they should, i dont think there was any changes to frames either.

i have an 05 seat on mine and it is much softer than the spare 04.

you would fall inlove with the 06 then. The 05 was like a rock to me.

it WILL fit, i have tried it,, i had my 05 at a dealership getting the cam turned, and i take an 06 seat and tried it out,,,

but if u want a really soft seat,, get a Quad Tech seat with extra foam,, order it from dana creech racing.com

Quadtech foam and cover all the way. I wish I had the money for one myself. ;)

I have an 06 seat on my 04, and my fat old butt likes it. :D
