does it hurt to take out bafle?

i got 450r and i took the bafle out will this hurt it..?
i no when its cold i got to but my hand over the pipe to give it the back pressure it needs. but sounds amazing. and i can tell more mid range power

No, it doesn't hurt it. But I doubt it is really helping you any, just a different sound.

Only if you dont rejet the carb causing it to run lean. lean = hot hot = burnt valves.

it does help b/c the stock baffil is really restrictive so you may get 2 or 3hp out of it.

Pull off your airbox lid and rejet it. Then you'll be fine.

i used to take my baffel out because it makes it sound better, only until i got an aftermarket one and rejetted. It should be fine as long as u eventually jet it....MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET ANY WATER OR DIRT IN IT IF YOU RIDE IN THE WOODS!!!(if u do plan to jet it i would get another pipe bfore u do cuz if u dont youll have to re jate it again once u get a real pipe)

taking the baffle out on the 400ex makes it sound like $%@!. i don't like it at all
