tie rod endlinks

hey guys im taking off my steering stem and when i loosen the nut on the endlink the threads just spin with the nut what do i hold on to to take it off. thanks

There should be a flat space on the tie rod end where you can use a wrench to keep it from spinning. You may have to push the boot up to see it.
