kill switch

I was ordering some parts for my 300 today and was about to get a kill switch when i read it was either normally open or normally closed. i know when i took my key switch off that i had to tie the 2 wires together for it to start.seems like most bikes are normally open.which one is mine.i like the pro armor switch but will it work?

it should work but ask whoever you are ordering from.

For the 300ex you want a normally open switch.

It doesn't attach to your on/off circuit. It grounds the power going to the coil. (Or the kill switch sensor wire going to the CDI).

When you hook it up, the plunger end goes to the power side. The stationary end goes to ground.

just so you know what end goes ware make no diffrence hehe. the only way it would mater is if one wire was to short to reach ware it needed to to.
