It's on it's way. I ordered the wiseco 87mm piston and it comes w/ a Namura gasket kit. Are those gaskets ant good? I'd prefer to have cometic, but i think that this will do the trick for me. All of this to my door for 144$... that a good deal? I can get my sleeve bored and honed for 35$... then i can bolt up and GO!!!!

What about a cam?? I'd highly suggest even a mild cam (HotCams Stage1, XR400, etc.) with a high compression piston. You will probably notice good gains with just the piston, but you will really feel it with a cam. For $130, it's probably the most bang-for-the-buck part you can install.

While you've got it apart, go ahead a nd throw a cam in. The Hot Cams are good, they really do just drop in. I went with a stage 2. Bought it on E-bay from a vendor for $100.00 new, included shipping. It really woke up my EX.
