Ok so i have Tag T2s on, and i want to get some powermadd hand gaurds, but how will they fit. Becuase i dont have room on the part on the bars where the diameter is 7/8s, cuase right after my killswitch, it tapers to 1 1/8"s. So where would the mounts go??

heres how I have mine, instead of having the mounts go over I have them go under. This is an old pic, my killswitch is now on the left side.

I have TAG T2s on mine with POWERMADDS, all stock controls and switches including PRO DESIGN tether kill. Mine fit snug so I cut some of the stock grips back and that gave me the room needed. I'll try to get a pic!

you can gain some room on the right side by switching to a 04-05
thumb throttle, its alot smaller than the boat the 06 has.

you'll probly gain 1/2", not much but it works on mine. and you wont have to trim your grips

also its a easier thumb throttle to push. my 06 throttle was giving me arm-pump bad. it was gone as soon as i switched it out

so I guess the 04-05 throttle works just fine then....did you just get rid of the TPS circuit....I hate the 06 throttle...I was actually thinking of trying a twist....

yeah, i just left the plug in the harness and cut the wires and soldered them together.

you cant just unplug it, it will start and idle, but will not run when you give it gas. so connect the 2 ends together and your good to go.

you can get a throttle from any honda model previous to "06"
250ex,300ex,400ex,450r. they are all the same.

i was getting armpump within minutes of riding with the 06 throttle. as soon as i switched it out, it stopped happening.

You can also use a TRX90 thumb throttle for a lighter pull. ;)
