Try to bump start it pulling it behind another quad. I was gonna say a new plug but you did that. Are you just stabbing the button when cold and not starting it like the manual says to prime the fuel pump...

I've priming it like the manual says and nothing. The funny thing is that it was running fine and then just nothing. Tryed pulling it behind the400ex(its a honda) HaHa. It starts to start but then just dies. I dont know dang fuel injection!!!

Call the dealer or go to atvconnection.com and ask in the forums there.....

Fuel filter? Have you changed the fuel filter? That sounds to be the problem.

Yup fuel filter should be the cure. I guess I didn't think of that since I haven't replaced mine yet after 30hrs.

Put a fuel filter still not the problem. I'm going to try to take it to advanced atv this next week. We love this bike its awsome but the darn just always has a lot of problems. If its not one thing its another. Oh well we will keep on tryin, thanks for the help guys.

hey jimmer, i would try charging the battery first. The computer shuts off at less than XX volts. it might need the stator sheilding update. No it's not a common problem except on a certain batch of quads. Mine has never failed to start and never fouled a plug in about 260- hours of hard runnin. AWESOME.

Hey Ryan thanks for the advice I'll give that a try and see what happens.????

I would have to agree with Ryan. The computer system may require at least 10 or so volts. If if doesn't get enough voltage, it just won't even turn on. I would deffinately look into the battery. Easiest thing to do is hook up a set of jumpers to your car.

Now somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I was told that you are not supposed to jump start a cannondale because of the risk of damaging the computer?

Some of the old computers did not have some sort of relay or something and would send a power surge when jumped off and burn out something. This has been corrected just like every other problem that Cannondale discovers.

The problem wyndzer refers to was on the first couple hundred MC1000 equipped machines. If voltage is your problem you really need to fully charge the battery. Jumping it off and riding will probably not be enough to bring it up to charge. i've never had to charge my cannibal, but you may have a bad battery. just good guesses.

Changing the fuel filter is imperative dude. Easy to do, and it is cheap. So do it. I had a friend with a Cannibal, and he changed his plug 10 times in a short period of time. The fuel injection was not set right, and he was getting way too much fuel. Have your dealer check it out. also, the Cannondales will not run right without a fully charged system. Make sure that the battery has a good charge, and charge it if you suspect it is not. If you are having problems call your dealership. They should make it right for you. If not call Cannondale.

The other thing to check that nobody mentioned is all of your electricial connection. If they come lose it will also cause some stalling problems. Blue lock tite on everything. It also wouldn't hurt to put some dielectric grease on all of the connections.

Out side of that charge the battery and keep a trickle charger on.
