i got my 450r about 2 weeks ago so everthings stock i was drag racing in a field and i would just ease it through 1st and when id go to 2nd the front stands straight up

the last time this happened i rode like a 100 yrd. whellie when i wasnt trying to my friend said to loosen up the back suspension will this help?

Yea, that will make the quad squat more off the line. But the best thing you can do is to sit as as far forward as you can until the front end will stay down.

less reboumd on the front shocks. Mine did this two every gear until i changed the shock settings.

Most ppl don't know this or undertsand. But lossen the front shock. Give it some sag. It will help you start out.

Some people understand it but also don't want to adjust their front shocks just to keep the front down. It might be better to adjust the rear and keep the fronts adjusted for your riding. I'd rather have the confidence racing down a mountain road with little body roll, where as the rear is solid and wont roll. :confused: :D It wasn't a shot at anyone nor was what was said a shot at me, I know.;) But if you are doing just drag racing then less rebound, more sag, or solid shocks will help out a lot.
