trx300ex wont start

My trx300ex wont start. I turn the key and its in nuetral so i hit start, hearing the starter working i dont think its the battery. I want to try with some starting fluid, but how much and where do i put it? I think i put it in the airfilter, right? Just spray it onto the filter itself right? I think the problem is that i havnt ridden it in a month and a half.

if the engine isent even turning over theres no sence of using starter fluid. also when you do spray it spray it into the carb not the air filter.

My bad, it does turn over. but how exactly do i spray into the carb?

no you can spray it threw the air filter it does not take much tho just spray it on the filter or around it the motor will suck it in.

if you spray it without the filter it could be too much and hurt the motor
