I was checking out Z400central.com and was browsing in the old posts and came across an article on a cut down and modified stock muffler. Apparently with after jetting this guy claims that it makes more bottom end power that his Sparks exhaust. All he did was basically convert it to a glass pack. Is this possible? Has anyone else seen this or seen this done before?

I am kind of curious about it myself. I have the factory exhaust from my kfx. I may try this just to have some fun. If some one can tell me how to post pics, I'll show step by step what I do. I think it would be cool if it actually works. It could save poeple money if they have capabilities to do a project like this.:)

That wa Crazie's article. He said it had more bottom end than his Sparks but lacked the top end. Now, for someone that was on a budget, yeah, this is a good mod. Just make sure you can re-pack it, and have to end caps, one with a spark arrestor, the other with out.
